DMG Productions explores the latest innovations in soil and plant health.
Agnition announced today that it will be featured in an upcoming episode of American Farmer, airing this Spring on RFD-TV. The segment of American Farmer will explore the extremely important role soil microbes perform in crop production. Agnition provides crop producers with a patented microbial catalyst technology that enhances soil and plant health for healthier farms and greater yields.
A biochemist at Agnition discovered the impact its natural microbial catalyst technology has on plants during a greenhouse experiment six years ago. Since then, Agnition products, including its flagship product Generate®, have improved crop yields on millions of acres in the U.S. and internationally. Agnition is excited to share its knowledge of soil microbes and how increasing microbial activity improves profitability with the American Farmer audience.
“Soil is alive with microbial activity and the more living farmers can make their soil, the more productive they are going to be,” said Agnition General Manager Cal Ludeman. “Our technologies stimulate microbes to keep soil healthy so it provides the proper nutrients to crops for the greatest yield. The idea is to keep your soil healthy so that it will go on for generations. The days of adding more and more fertilizer to crops are gone. Our products make more efficient use of fertilizer, protect the environment and take care of the soil.”
The patented microbial catalyst technology available from Agnition stimulates soil microbes that liberate nutrients for healthier crops and greater yields. Agnition provides easy-to-use products like Generate® that can be applied foliar or in-furrow at a minimal rate of 1 pint/acre. Generate® has been proven to increase corn and wheat yields by an average of more than 7 bushels/acre and soybean yields by more than 3 bushels/acre.
“With hands-on implementation, Agnition works closely with customers in order to improve their bottom line,” said Kelly Fussell, producer for American Farmer. “We look forward to educating the community about their capabilities.”
